These group of anglers hooked up into several monster Alpers trout averaging between four and five pounds in two separate outings. Catching an astonishing 40 alpers trout in two days (a few fish were kept to be eaten for the week the first day, all other trout were released safely for the rest of the week). This same group of anglers also fished Convict Lake, Crowley Lake, Lake Mary, Lake Mamie, South Lake, Bridgeport Lake, Rock Creek Lake, Owens River, Intake 2, and Gull Lake with amazing results.
