Narrator Kip Force aka Blonde Baller from VH1′s Real Chance Of Love 2 guides this video as anglers fish Twin Lakes (Mammoth Lakes California) in 2008, proving to be a success for anglers fishing Lip RipperZ products. These group of anglers hooked up into several monster Alpers trout averaging between four and five pounds in two separate outings. Catching an astonishing 40 alpers trout in two days (a few fish were kept to be eaten for the week the first day, all other trout were released safely for the rest of the week). This same group of anglers also fished Convict Lake, Crowley Lake, Lake Mary, Lake Mamie, South Lake, Bridgeport Lake, Rock Creek Lake, Owens River, Intake 2, and Gull Lake with amazing results. Hot Lures while fishing these eastern sierra lakes were definitely Lip RipperZ fishing lures from www.lipripperz.com. Soon after, Kip quickly diverts to Delfin and Matt trout fishing a southern california lake called Santa Ana River Lakes in orange county. This lake is a great lake for big fish, especially big rainbow trout if you know how to catch them. During this trip, Matt Thomas and Delfin from Angler Wear Clothing, hooked up into three big rainbow trout each weighing in at over 10 pounds, including the monster trout he will soon be landing after a battle that lasted roughly 15 minutes on 2 pound line, and ultra light gear. This particular big rainbow trout weighed in at 11 pounds and was caught on a “Snot Rocket” Litl RipperZ lure by the company Lip RipperZ. If your in the hunt for big rainbow trout such as this big one landed, other great southern california lakes to fish that plant big fish are Corona Lake, Irvine Lake, Hesperia Lake, and Laguna Niguel lake. If you like fishing park lakes, you may want to give city park lakes a try such as Cucamonga Guasti Lake, Glen helen Lake, Yucaipa Regional park or Prado Lake. Most fish show in this video were rainbow trout, however, using Lip RipperZ products will also catch you crappie, and lots of them! If your ever crappie fishing, you definitely want to try either Litl RipperZ or Mini RipperZ by Lip RipperZ fishing lurs. These small profiled baits seem to drive the crappie crazy with their smooth erratic action and lifelike appearance. Crappie fishing can be a lot of fun, rewarding and especially fun for taking out the kiddies. If you would like more information on how to catch trout, how to catch crappie, how to catch bream or how to catch bass with Lip RipperZ fishing lures, visit www.lipripperz.com.

How to find trout tips using floating bait when fishing from a boat. This technique allows you exposure to both the fish swimming the bank plus the fish that trollers normally catch which are swimming in the middle of the lake. These are the methods I use when finding good spots to fish for trout. Pull up on the point watching very careful the depths as you approach as well as watching for dangers to your prop. Raise motor as you get close. Many times you want need an anchor out to hold you. Fish out the back of the boat very close to shore as many times the trout are just out of visual range..I use Berkley charteuse glitter Powerbait with a Shelton TadPole™ snagless weight and a 18 inch Shelton Self Releasing™ rig.

Since you aren’t breaking off hooks in fish and with the TadPole snagless weights, not breaking off in rocks, you get in more fishing time because you are not down re-rigging so that gives you more time with your bait in the water and you improve your catch. This is especially important when you have kids, as you will not spend all of your time re-rigging them. It is especially a good feeling seeing them swim away. Berkley Power Bait and these hooks and TadPole make one of the most effective trout bait rig there is. Catch and keep, no problem, you get the hook out instantly, and catch and release couldn’t be easier. Regarding self-releasing hooks. They are design to release fish without touching them. Basically how they work is the eye of the hook is at the bend of the hook and the leader line goes through a flexible plastic sleeve that goes over leader line and when the sleeve is slid down over the shank of the hook it is set and fish just like a regular fishhook. The sleeve has a second line tied to the top of this and parallels the main leader line and is attach by a sliding 3 turn uniknot tied with thread. When you slid the red knot up by pinching it or using a pocket comb it slides the sleeve up and the hook rotates and self releases.

Line Breaker Monster Trout Attack Bait go arobatic. Great 2 day trip with a overnight camping at Lake Amador near Jackson California. We were fishing for large Donaldson trout using new Berkley Gulp bait in a chartreuse glitter with Shelton Self Releasing hooks and Shelton’s Tadpole™ snagless weights. We were fishing from a 15 foot aluminum boat. The Gulp looks similar to Powerbait. It is a little softer than Powerbait and you can put on more and still have the hook easily come out of the bait and stick the fish. We pulled the boat up on shore but fished out the back of the boat. Fished the Lake Shasta Lake Trout Derby this weekend with rep Ray Link. We left on thursday morning and drove up in very windy condition which remain with us through Saturday making it fun to fish with boat control being a full time job. We had our share of tangles during the pre-fish as we were pulling different lures. On the tournament days we pulled identical setups so very few tangles even tho wind remained a boat control job but the fish were biting like wild dogs. I only brought back two fish so catch and release was the norm except for tournament fish. There were 150 fishermen in the tournament and we were just outside the money on our weights. Used baby Minnow Bullet Rotator™ on pre-fish and Shasta tackle stuff on tournament days. Saw Tran and his fishing buddy. Saw Harold Jones of Sugarloaf Cottage Resort a long time friend and stayed with Gary Mirales of Shasta Tackle. Event held at Bass Hole Bar and Grill in Lakehead, California. The Lake is very low with only a couple of launches open and low water bring all the boats in favorite hot bite areas and making watching where you were going just like a hot salmon bite on the ocean.
