As I stood on the thick bed of quartzitic grits, which is very coarse thick rock that resembled leftover from an eruption of some kind, I watch the Caribbean Ocean meets the Atlantic Ocean. The waves angrily dance and spit at each other. The fishermen fling their fishing line into the belly of the water, expecting some greedy fishes to swallowed the bait. The aggravated wind travels through the microphone as though to say go home and the voices of the people transcended.

That big boar hog came outta the scrub palm right to my bait pile this morning and I took the shot. I left out the "rough" stuff (the shot itself, cutting his throat, etc.) so YouTube hippies wouldn’t get all upset. Just wanted to post that I got him last night; he’s in my biggest cooler I own waiting for the smoker. I reckon he weighed about 200 pounds or so. Big pig, too big really, but we’ll eat him just the same. New England Arms, Excel Auto 12 gauge with 1 oz, 2 3/4, Remington Sluggers at about 14 foot off the ground and 30 foot out.

Finally a lure that mimicks bait fish feeding on the bottom, face down and tail up. Unlike other floating lures with hooks that dangle, the secret to this lure is the rigid hook design coupled with its highly bouyant properties. This lure sits on the bottom but the hooks never touch or drag the bottom, thus eliminating snags or tangles. No need for fancy techniques here. Just connect an in-line sinker between your line and the lure, add natural or artificial bait to the tail hook, cast and the current does the rest giving them great action while sitting on the bottom. Better your chances of success by camouflaging the in-line sinker with a natural colored tube bait that matches the bottom. Lures are 3 inches in length with silver 3D eyes. They can be purchased unfinished or with a chartreuse tint. For a stable, upright presentation you should purchase one with a glass belly weight. If you want the irratic presentation of a dying bait fish purchase one without the glass belly weight.
